Additionally, later drafts of the movie were penned by hand by screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and some of those original hand-written notes have recently seen the light of day thanks to a donation to the Writers Guild Foundation Archive. With many new movies in the pipeline because of Disney's new ownership of Lucasfilm and the franchise, it's fun to go back and see how the original movies developed into what we know today.
