Nexus 4 , HTC One or waiting for the next Nexus?

Hey there, i am fresh out of my 2-year contract and currently searching for a new device.

I have been rocking an iPhone 4 since it came out and quite frankly i cant stand it anymore. Not that it´s a bad phone, i t still looks and feels awesome and the appstore ist second to none but it feels just endlessly slow and i really have seen enough of iOS in the last couple of years. So, i said By, Bye Apple, the next one will be an Android phone!

In the last couple of weeks i looked at an lot of phones and it became incresingly clear that i really want a phone running stock android or at least something that comes very close to the stock experience. So the obvious choice would be the Nexus 4, right?

Well, while i really like the speed, size and OS of the N4 there are some things that have so far kept me from ordering one right away: first of all the display ist not quite what i expected. It is sharp, yes, but the colors look lees vivid that on my 2 year old iPhone and compared to the sexy new 1080p phones the N4`s display simply doesnt look quite as good. Also the glass back...havent i endured the iphone 4`s glass back for long enough? I made it through my contract without my contract without mayor scratches on the back but still...constantly worring when putting down your phone -> not cool...

Enter the HTC One: gorgous 1080p display, unibody aluminuim (Yes, Yes, Yes!), even better CPU, and, and, and... Of course the One has its own drawbacks: Sense 5 might not be as hideously ugly as in its former versions but i mought still have to tone it down as much as possible with launchers. BTW, how close to stock Android would i get with Apex Launcher or alternatives? I know it is near impossible to turn of BlinkFeed and some other HTC featuren without a custom ROM, but what about the gerneal UI? And last but not least the One comes with a hefty pricetag -> i would have to pay about 200€ more for the One in the same contract...

So, here finally my question for you guys: Should i by one of the two now (and if yes, which one?) or should i wait what the Google I/O brings in terms of new Nexus devices? I could easly bridge the time untill the roumored new LG Nexus comes out (early fall maybe?) with the good old iphone, but only if it was worth the wait...
