Could you see a Nokia dedicated camera?

I feel as if Nokia has the assets necessary to create a spin off business with a series of and prosumer fixed lens cameras using advanced versions of their beloved smartphone camera technologies. We are entering and age where the consumer point and shoots are supposedly losing their influence, whereas ILC and prosumer fixed lens cameras will probably thrive due to having much more flexibility than the ever-evolving smartphone camera, yet more cost effective than professional camera sets. And while I'm sure they have no interest in doing such a thing, I would be very interested in what they would have to offer, for it would no doubt be a compelling device. The question is: no doubt would Nokias announcement of a dedicated camera cause a stir in the tech community, but do you think they could prove to be innovative enough to become a top contender in a new (for them) yet flailing market? Or is this thread just DOA? :P
