I've owned the Nokia Lumia 920 for 5 months now, and I am definitely convinced that this is of course the best Windows Phone 8 solution, but also that this is still a though competitor of Android flagships and the iPhone.

In fact the camera is still one of the best on the market, if not the best, period. Thanks to the superlative low-light performance, OIS and the latest firmware updates, the camera offers great images for a phone.

Battery life and and reception aren't best-in-class, but still offer a more than decent experience, especially once it is clear to the user how to prolong the life of the phone for a whole day (NFC off, Nokia Drive not in background...).

The ecosystem is, of course, the only let-down for this phone, but it is not really a problem, thanks to Nokia's collection of apps and a Windows Phone Store growing day by day.
