At WWDC 2013, Apple announced the launch of iWork for iCloud, allowing users to create and edit Pages, Numbers, and Keynote documents inside desktop and iOS browsers. Looking to challenge rivals with its web services, iWork for iCloud is Apple's answer to Google Drive and Microsoft's Office Web Apps. Supporting Safari, Chrome, and Internet Explorer (although Apple says it works best on Safari), the web-based app suite is capable of handling Microsoft Office documents and will be available to developers starting today. The service will launch publicly later this year.
