White iPhone is now Apple's default for iOS 7

I know it may not mean much at all, but one thing I found quite striking in Apple's iOS 7 presentation, and on their webpage for iOS, is the fact that there were no black iPhones to be seen anywhere. In fact, on their entire iOS 7 page, there is only one screenshot using a black device, out of 20 or so white phones. Is it because the UI looks better on a white phone? That seems to be the case, as the translucency and bright colors seem to pop against the polar borders around the display in their marketing shots. I personally prefer the black iPhone 5, as I believe it is more minimalistic and lacks the ornamentation of the white iPhone, with it's glittery chrome borders and aluminum backside, so this was quite noticeable to me, but I'm sure most people didn't notice. Any thoughts?
