If MS playes their cards right, they have a trump card that Sony can't match
What would kill Sony is if Microsoft could work out deals with cable providers to be their set top boxes hence subsidizing the $499 cost (for arguments sake, lets say sub $299 or even FREE) Think about it, right now we pay around $15.99 per month (at least I do)for a DVR. Imagine if instead of getting your old clunky Set Top Box you'd get a shiny new (subsidized) Xbox One. This would accentuate the admittedly awesome TV functions (especially since this option wouldn't require a pass thru) which is something Sony couldn't match. It would also Greatly bolster their lead the living room (which is a much larger market than Games) What do you guys think?
