Why I am Getting an Xbox One

I've noticed that all of the internet lately is up in arms over the Xbox One. I personally disagree, and here's why.

1) Games. Xbox announced some great exclusives this year. I don't think anybody is denying that. There library is absolutely massive. Even a lot, but not all, of the games Sony tries to play off as exclusives (Ex: Kingdom Hearts III)

2)Entertainment. The Xbox undoubtedly has better integration with entertainment services. As a PC gamer, the reason i would buy a console at all wouldn't be only for games. Plus I have a family who doesn't all play games. It makes much more sense to get a device that everyone will enjoy. I feel this adds value.

3)Kinect. See above, I have a family. Plus I think the new Kinect looks really cool.

4)DRM. Yes, 24-hour connects are annoying but really, if you look into it, the new DRM and policies on the X1 aren't that bad, and some of them sound downright useful. This article: http://www.wpcentral.com/lets-talk-xbox-drm gives a great explanation. Signing into my account and sharing games when I go to friends houses, or selling my downloadable games all sound pretty cool to me. I'm not saying it's perfect, but I could see how as things progress to be more and more diskless this could be really useful.

5)W8 integration. It's nice to know I can stream things form my PC to my TV.

6)I have a giftcard for the Microsoft store

7)All my friends play Xbox 360. I'm not sure what they'll do with these new consoles, but a lot of them seem to be leading towards the One, just because they like Halo and Gears and other exclusives they've grown to love.
