I recently purchased this MacBook Air with a 512GB SSD, 8GB of ram and a 1.7 Intel Core i7 CPU. This was an upgrade for me considering my last Air was the 2012 model with baseline specs.

Design overall is beautiful as usual. Very nice to use and nice to the touch. Great consumer product in that respect. However the design is much like the iPhone 4 to 4S. After buying it if you are used to the 2012 model it feels a little stale.

The keyboard is fantastic, but not as good as Lenovo's notebook keyboards. I would say Apples keyboard takes an easy second (or maybe third behind some of HPs keyboards). It takes a while to adjust to the keys if you are used to Lenovo's quality keyboards. The touchpad is perfect. 10/10 in that respect. I have never used a better touchpad in my life thus far.

After a full charge I was able to push 14 hours of battery life with 70% brightness. I usually listen to music and browse the web, so I was not doing anything too intensive. I did not experience any heat or noise issues and the performance was wonderful throughout it all. I recommend this to anyone out there.
