Who will make the Google Nexus 5?

LG has confirmed that they won't be making the Nexus 5, but they wouldn't turn down the chance to make another if offered.

Samsung and HTC has announced their own Nexus version of their flagship phones, Galaxy S4 and HTC One, so can we possibly rule out Samsung? On the other hand, we must not forget the relationship between HTC and Google, making the first Android phone and the first Nexus device, the Nexus one.

Next up is Sony, although that Sony has announced a stock version of Xperia Z, it's still possible that Sony might make the Nexus 5.

We can also consider Motorola, which Google owns. Since Google owns Motorola, it is possible that Motorola might make the next Nexus. A very likely one that surfaced a few weeks ago was the Motorola X phone. Sources revealed that it might be a code name of Nexus 5. Not impossible, but a bit unlikely to me.

Finally, Google might choose the Chinese company, Huawei. This is less likely, but Huawei has done a good job in making Android phones, as well as Windows Phone 8. The Huawei Ascend P6, dubbed as the world's slimmest phone has gone to sale. A Huawei spokesmen said that they will launch a Stock version of Huawei Ascend P6, but the chairmen denied this.
