Intel HD Graphics 4000 in Mavericks

I just discovered something interesting today.........

My Mac mini 2012 model uses Intel HD 4000 graphics and as everybody knows, the amount of memory dedicated to the graphics is dependent on the amount of RAM you have installed.

My Mac mini is a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor with 4GB of RAM installed, in other words, i have not upgraded this machine since i set it up for the first time.

Under Mountain Lion, The system reported that 512MB of memory is dedicated to the graphics.

This time in Mavericks Beta 3, having the same amount of system RAM, it shows that it now has 1024MB of of memory is now dedicated to the graphics.

Now i wondered is i upgraded the memory to 8 or 16GB, will the graphics memory be increased......
