OS X like multitouch gestures on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail?

Hello members of The Verge.

I wanted to create a post to ask whether any fellow Ubuntu users have 'successfully' set up gestures which can be comparable to the ones found in OS X? These being: 3-finger swipe to view an adjacent workspace, swipe to move window to an adjacent workspace, 2-finger horizontal scrolling, etc.. I know that Ubuntu 13.04 supports 2-finger vertical scrolling and 2-finger tap as they are pre installed.

My main frustration stems from needing to hold down 'Ctrl+Atl+Direction key' or 'Ctrl+Shift+Direction key' to swipe to view an adjacent workspace and swipe to move window to an adjacent workspace retrospectively.

I have found this website which shows that Daniel Graziotin has provided a solution to my issues, however as I am new to Ubuntu addition advice would be great.

This is my first ever post so I do apologise for any mistakes.

Thank you for your time!

EDIT: Dell Latitude E5420 Laptop.
I have used 'synclient -l' to verify that my touchpad supports up to 3 fingers.
