Microserfs: a weekly community thread- Lets talk form factors (July 4th - July 12)
Microserfs, a throwback to the Tribe's original name, is a weekly thread dedicated to discussing all things Microsoft, whether it be a retrospective thought, a current event, or future looking predictions. So stop by, join the conversation, and please remember, as always, to keep it clean and to not feed the trolls.
There has been a lot of talk about different device form factors lately. The Verge even talked about this at length in a recent episode of Top Shelf. Windows is spanning across more screen sizes than ever, and I'm curious to know what you all believe to be the best for you. Does the screen flip in its frame? Are there screens on both sides? Does it fit in your pocket? Does it sit on a desk? Does it have a touch screen? Or do you just need a plain old laptop?
(Just to clarify: I'm interested in things like hybrid vs traditional laptop, desktop vs. tablet, etc. Not so much dream devices or specs.)
