The thing people are forgetting when it comes to Google Glass privacy concerns....

Spyglasses already exist...and they are indistinguishable from regular glasses/sunglasses without close inspection.

You'll hear criticism after criticism of Glass citing privacy as a concern yet these spyglasses have been on the market for years and are significantly more subtle.

Why is it that people forget these things when they try to criticize new things?

Reminds me of the people citing how "Google bans glass from Google meeting!!!! ZOMG!!!" ignoring the fact that they banned ALL electronic devices including smartphones, cellphones, tablets, cameras, and I'm guessing spywatches and spyglasses.

A lot of the privacy concerns regarding Google Glass seem to be drummed up to spread not so necessary FUD.

I say this after reading these articles: and and reading the comments therein.
