Android 4.x ringtones and notifications for iOS
I did this for myself and decided to share, incase anyone wants them. I've organized them in directories by type (Notifications, Ringtones, Alarms) but I couldn't find out how to make the notifications show up in the Alerts list separate from Ringtones. They can be used for either, but I like to have things organized properly.
They were pulled from a Cyanogenmod ROM, so there are a couple of Cyanogenmod tones. I removed some of the ones I thought were obnoxious, so it's not 100% complete. For instance, there's an alarm tone that's a really loud blaring guitar sound that I would never want to wake up to, and a ringtone where a man whispers "Cyanogen-maahhhhhdd". I also left out all of the musical, song-like ringtones. Like I said, this was for me. I'm just sharing.
Download from Dropbox and import them to iTunes. They will show up under Tones. From there, you'll have to sync them to your iOS device.
Oh yeah, and I also have the notification sounds from the old Google Notifier program for Mac OS as well as the old Google Hangouts ringtone. I tried to record the Gmail new mail tone from the iOS app because I couldn't figure out how to pull it, but there is quite a bit of background noise in it.
If someone who uses the Gmail app has a 3.5" male-to-male wire, you can probably turn the volume all the way up on your phone, plug it into your computer with Quicktime or Audacity recording from the mic/headphone input (unless you have an older Mac with separate inputs) and send yourself an email. I don't have one of those wires anymore. Please post it here if you do it.
