Android headset controls - frustration
When is Google going to fix Android's headset controls? Whenever I unpause or attempt to interact with audio on my Galaxy Nexus running stock 4.3 the experience is hit and miss at best. Attempts at unpausing or skipping tracks work about half the time, often forcing me to take my phone out of my pocket to use the onscreen controls. I suspect it has something to do with the way Android manages tasks and applications. If I've had a music track paused for an extended period of time and try to play again, it often requires a single press on my headphone button followed by a double press (but this often doesn't work either). It's as though you need to awaken your music player before you can interact with it. This is a very, very annoying issue. I really want Android 5.0 to put this one to bed once and for all.
