Dear "Microsoft Tribe": stop regurgitating Microsoft PR material and think critically for a second

It's not that difficult: Google makes the YouTube apps for Android and iOS (first-party apps) for the rest, there is the web app, and of course the official API with its specific guidelines and terms.

Yeah it would be nice if Google put some resources into building a YouTube app for Windows Phone, as it would also be nice if Microsoft built an office version for Linux, but contrary to them, Google provides an API with clear guidelines. Microsoft ignoring these terms and with some reverse engineering built their own app that purposely did not show ads, that plainly antagonistic move indicates that Microsoft was seeking a PR fight more than an app, and it's exactly what they got.


Same as It's unhealthy that the bulk of Microsoft's PR involves Google, it's unhealthy that Google is the main topic of discussion in a Microsoft community,
