GS4 AMOLED screen broke when I put on a case; do I keep the replacement?
I loved the phone, but Samsung's build quality just appalls me. I put on a shell case and apparently the pressure from the plastic case wrapping around the edges of the phone was enough to break the AMOLED screen inside. The glass on the screen was uncracked, of course, but the screen developed all these odd scanlines and stopped displaying things.
Carrier is sending me a new one, but honestly... do I keep this thing? I was in love with the camera and that's the primary reason I got it, but if the new one is just going to similarly catastrophically fail in the next few weeks/months, it won't be worth it at all.
Is the S4 known for suffering catastrophic failures? I literally had the phone for two days. Not exactly confident in Samsung at the moment.
In my heart I know that the next Nexus phone just won't have a camera like the GS4's, so I'm hesitant. Any advice appreciated.
