HTC One Battery Life Questions
So I am an extremely heavy smartphone user, and I had a few questions about the battery life of the HTC One, as I'm getting the Verizon One in the next few days. I go through an average of 300 texts, 15 minutes of talk time, around 100 emails, 20 Facebook notifications, 100-200 Twitter notifications, listen to around 2 or 3 hours of music on Spotify (mostly offline playlists), and SnapChat a ton. I currently have a RAZR Maxx, which lasts me around 16 hours most days (with around 3 hours of screen time). It needs to be able to last through a full school day (and at school, on cellular only) and a couple hours after school.
I'm hoping to be able to get at least 9 or 10 hours with my One and was wondering if something like that would be possible with such heavy use, or if I was going to have to change a few things and maybe buy an external rechargeable battery to bring with me in my bag or pocket. I can also charge from a wall wart for up to 45 minutes during the middle of my school day too and push most of my email and Twitter usage to my iPad like I did last year when I had a GNex.
Added Clarification: I don't need it to last quite as long as my Maxx, just around a 7 hour school day (with charging time possible during the day, up to 2 hours, but usually around 45 minutes) and an hour before and maybe two hours after. My two first hours of the school day are AP Chem and BC Calc which means no using my phone. My 3rd hour is a community college class on Mondays and Wednesdays, and a free hour + lunch on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Then after that I have band (which I only use my phone for tuning) and then AP Lit, which is an easy class to slip my phone in front of the book. During school I really only use 50 or so texts because I'm around friends in person more. Music is on the way to and from school and during my free hour. I could easily reduce the amount of notifications I get throughout the day to help save some battery life as well.
