iOS and true haptic feedback was supposed to be the future of mobile computing
iOS was often criticized for its skeuomorphic UI but what happens when such a UI is paired with a breakthrough tech. What if the notes app not only looked like one but also felt like one, it would genuinely be a true next generation user experience. Does the term 'skeuomorphic' wholly apply to it as it tries to mimic the materiel in-addition to the design.
A haptic screen doesn’t work well with a flat user interface thus it won’t well with iOS 7. Imagine paring a haptic screen with windows phone it won’t make any sense. While android and windows phone were always flat iOS wasn’t thus iOS devices were the best candidates for a haptic screen.
But not anymore. This makes iOS a missed opportunity.
