T'was the night before iPhone
And all through the web
Not a rumor was stirring
That hadn't been shared.
The banners were hung in Cupertino with care,
in hopes that St. Timothy soon would be there.
The fanboys were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of color-phones danced in their heads.
And Laura in her Twitter, and Josh and his hair,
had just gone on vacay for a long summer's nap.
When out of the web there arose such a clatter,
Josh sprang from his bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the Windows he flew like a Flash, Tor open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The gold on the case of the new announced phone, drew the lust of all China for objects like those.
When, what to his wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature iPad and eight tiny TVs. With a little touchpad driver, so lively and quick, he knew in a moment what Mossberg would think.
More rapid than Kindles, those iPhones they came, and we whistled and shouted and called them by name:
Now Schiller! now Jony! Now fingerprint scanners!
On Siri! On Eddy; Ebooks please mind your manners!
To the top of the market! To topple Android!
Nokia's fate they had to avoid.
With Blackberry dying and now Ballmer leaving,
perhaps Galaxy's rise would only be fleeting.
Would iOS 7 be the savior they needed?
With flat design? Forstall's behavior unheeded?
Could this be the push that they need now?
Or will MicroNokia become a cash cow?
On the Verge of an iPhone; no one can wait.
To line up ahead of the release date.
We all will be watching and waiting to see
What "one more thing" from Tim could there be?
