Ever since Steve Ballmer announced his retirement and Microsoft's acquired Nokia, some Microsoft fans have been ecstatic about the possibility of Stephen Elop becoming the CEO of MSFT.
I checked his page at Wikipedia, and frankly, I don't understand why that's such a good idea. Microsoft needs a visionary CEO to lead the recently restructured and refocused company. Elop looks to me like a good executive, but is he a visionary? What fresh ideas did he bring to Nokia, apart from the transition to WP?
So I ask you, Microsoft fans, why do you like this guy so much?
