Why HTC should adopt Cyanogen
Cyanogenmod has become a company. Many of you heard the news and if you are anything like me you got excited about the near future in androidland. Kondik said it best when he said that cellphones right now are essentially mobile cash registers. Next week Cyanogen will announce which OEM they are partnering with and although many people say it will be Oppo, I have an idea that according to me, makes sense.
HTC is running out of cash so they're looking to cut corners anywhere possible, they recently layed off a great amount of employees. How about most of your software department? Partner with CM, let them handle software while you add your own features to the mix. The money that you were going to use on software, use it on marketing. I understand HTC wants to stop losing as much cash but you have to spend money to make money. Make sure to promote your new partnership with the company with "more than 10 million loyal followers".
I doubt I'm the only one that wants to see a top tier designed phone with CM preinstalled.
