Google released an update to Gmail for Android today that brings the app more in line with the ubiquitous card design the company has been using it many of its apps of late. The new version offers a cleaner design for conversations, with each message broken out into its own separate card. Additionally, Google has improved the multiple message selection tool to make it clearer when users have selected more than one message. The app also now alerts users if they have turned off automatic sync of their email. The update should be rolling out to the Play Store over the next few days.
