Surface Touch Cover 2 Impressions
I'm very familiar with the Surface Pro with the type cover, but never liked the original touch cover, way too inaccurate.I was in Burlington, MA this weekend and they had both new Surfaces front and center of the store. I tried out the new back-lit touch cover. I just dove in and didn't even look at where my finger was and started to type as fast a could. It was 98% accurate. It was a little hard to find the home row but it was still easy to type even if I missed a key by a few mm.
This gives me hope that Microsoft, while kind of expensive, are making very high quality products. The Surface 2 looked, felt, and ran great.
On a side note, I saw quite a few people trading in their iPhone for a Nokia 1020.
