The president's NSA review panel has attracted a lot of criticism in the days since it was announced — but now, citizens will have a chance to send their complaints directly to the source. The office of director of national intelligence announced today on Tumblr that it would be seeking public comments on "all matters that the president has directed it to examine" — specifically, how the NSA can collect national security intelligence while still respecting citizen's privacy. The comments will be collected and reviewed by the DNI office, and then used to inform the group's deliberations.

The office said it would not be responding to any comments personally, but reserved the right to post comments publicly, and reminded submitters that anything submitted would become part of the official record of the group. Comments can be sent to reviewgroup@dni.gov any time before the deadline of October 4th.
