Need help deciding on a tablet for work
Hey, I'm usually a lurker but I'm having trouble deciding on a tablet for work purposes so would appreciate some advice from you all. I have a 11 inch laptop running Windows 7 for which I use to bring about for work - mainly word processing, email, doing presentations. I can't stand the weight (3 lbs) of this thing anymore so I'm looking into getting a tablet (with bluetooth keyboard). I've heard that the Ipad is simply better for work and school, but I'm a big android fan and having used it briefly, I get pretty frustrated with its walled garden.
The new Samsung note 10.1 looks promising with its multi-window and S-pen features, but my major concern is the ability to do professional presentations with an android tablet. Google docs word processing features are adequate for my needs, but having found out that at the moment presentations cannot be edited on tablet version of drive has me wondering whether the various presentation apps on ios will work better. I've looked into keynote on ios and it seems like a user friendly interface but i'm concerned about its compatibility with my home computer which is running MS powerpoint.
