Confessions from a Google Fanboy: W8 is pretty nice

I've been running with the enterprise preview for a few days to try it out for a potential new computer build, and I have to admit, it's pretty nice. I enjoy the lock screen and the general speed improvements it has over W7. Metro is a really nice design language, it feels very nice and modern. It won't be my main OS(I dual boot Ubuntu.), but it's still been fun to play with, and it'll be more than suitable for when I need to scratch my gaming itch. I do wish it was easier to find apps in the store, however. Search in the Charms menu can be annoying.

(For those who will ask why W8 for games, because 1. Better SSD support, and 2. DirectX updates. I feel pretty comfortable promising that W7 won't see DirectX 12.)
