If i was Nokia and I saw GD3 i'd want to quit too!
Just looking at the leaks of GD3 notification centre and multi tasking and I think Microsoft have dropped the ball in design
I don't get the x to close button on top of the multi tasking card. The most obvious thing would be to use a windows 8.0 gesture, swipe down. But hey lets mess with peoples heads and screw around with the ux across the platforms. Ok so if they would have to resort to an x to close icon, could they not have placed it closer to the bottom of the screen so it would be easier to press one handed. DOHH. Someone at Microsoft isn't sweating the details.
The other 'leaks' are even more frightening the week view design by someone who wears a pocket protector.
Screen rotation lock hidden in a sub menu of a menu, yawnnnnn. It took 2 years to bring this functionality?
If I was Nokia and was shown GD3 I would have called an emergency meeting with Ballmer, discussed how slow progress is with Windows Phone development and the shite results to look forward to. I'd threaten to pull the plug and with that take 80% of windows phone market. If I were Ballmer I'd Storm out of the room and trip over a glass table.
Nokia would then say hey Ballmer you broke the glass table, you break it you buy it. Ballmer has no resort to buy Nokia which was cheaper than the glass table.
Microsoft are stuffed if they keep putting out crap like this.
They need a CEO who knows how to crack a whip - because this is bullshite.
