Verizon Wireless prepaid customers will be able to order the Moto G starting January 9th for $99.99. Motorola's budget handset will be available first online and will appear at the carrier's retail stores "in the coming weeks." A picture of the Moto G in Verizon's prepaid retail packaging emerged at the end of December, and Best Buy confirmed it would be selling the device almost immediately. In fact, Best Buy stores are reportedly allowed to sell the Moto G as soon as shipments arrive, so it may be a better option if you're eager to get a hold of the low-cost smartphone. As we've said before, it may be cheap (and Verizon's price is the lowest yet), but the Moto G is plenty capable for those core mobile tasks. The lack of LTE may be harder to swallow on "America's largest LTE network," but it's still a fantastic device for the price.

Separately, Boost Mobile has announced that it too will be selling the Moto G, but you'll have to wait a bit longer and pay slightly more. It's set to be released on January 14th for $129.99. If you can't wait until then, apparently Boost Mobile's version of the Moto G will be appearing on the Home Shopping Network (and its website) today.
