Wonder Woman fans have been denied the chance to see their favorite superhero on the silver screen, but she may soon be in as many as three feature films. Warner Bros. has locked up Gal Gadot for three separate films, Variety reports. In addition to Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman vs. Superman, it's reported that Warner Bros. hopes to feature Wonder Woman in a standalone film as well as a Justice League movie. News broke last month that the Israeli actress — best known for her performances in the Fast & Furious franchise — would make an appearance in the sequel to Man of Steel. The action flick will star Ben Affleck as Batman, and Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman. It's expected to be released in May of 2016.

The move to sign Gadot for three films could suggest that DC Comics and Warner Bros. are planning an Avengers-style movie avalanche, but the standalone Wonder Woman film and the Justice League movie are far from confirmed — the studio will need to test the waters with Batman vs. Superman to see if there's interest in additional Wonder Woman appearances.
