Surface as a Second Montior

I recently bought a Surface Pro 2, and I absolutely love it. It easily has enough power to conquer most of the work that I do. When I edit videos and work in photoshop though it doesn't have quite as much zip as I like.

I recently bought a desktop for more powerful work such as after effects, solidworks, and other cad programs. The only down side of this is that the desktop doesn't have touch input as the surface does.

I guess my question is there any way to connect my surface as a second monitor with touch input?
