3 years ago you could buy a badass laptop for $2000. Now it's $3000? Seriously?
I'd like to understand how the hell nobody is up and arms about the tremendous increase in price when it comes to MacBook Pros, especially now that you can no longer buy a Non-Retina one.
My 2011 Macbook Pro 15inch is 2.2 Ghz Quad-Core with a 1GB Radeon graphic card and 768GB HD. Spent $2200 for it.
Now, if I want a 2013 Macbook Pro 15inch 2.3 Ghz Quad-Core with 16GB of RAM and 1GB SSD, it's $3100 + $300+ tax?
How come nobody else here is disgruntled?
I understand Retina and SSD are the future, but I shouldn't have to spend $3000 for a laptop, I should still be able to spend $2000 and get something world-class, just as I did 3 years ago. I mean $3000? That's Mac Pro money.
