Tiger VS Mavericks

Since I have access to Tiger 10.4.11, I thought I'd compare it to Mavericks just to see how far we have come since then. I created new profile on each system so everything is pretty much default. How much has OS X evolved?

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves: (links take you to full res)

Mavericks 10.9.1 (2013) .... Tiger 10.4.11 (2005-2007)

My conclusion: In my nostalgic memory everything feels like it was better back in the days, but now when actually using and comparing all these apps and OS... we have come a far, far way. With each update it feels like "they screwed up and changed things for no reason and previous version was better", but no. Hell, no! Just look at iMovie! It's crazy whatcreative, but powerful tools everyone at home now have. Almost everything looks nicer, cleaner and with so much functionality. So, enjoy, appreciate and think rationally about what you have now!

but

Only one more thing... flat Dock looks sooo much better.
