Nexus 5 even though very plain looks pretty good and is very comfortable to use despite its large size. It is easy to operate with one hand is very light weight owing to the material used. Even though it looks pretty good its obvious its made for whats underneath the packing once you start to use it. Its buttery smooth and simply awesome to use. It provides a pure android experience, the way it was meant to be. The software is seamless and Google now responds well to our voice even though i would have loved the voice integration to be like that in Moto x.
Despite these good points it does have certain drawbacks or else it would definitely have demolished the other smartphone makers. It doesn't have a good camera like the LG G2 or Samsung Note 3 or the iPhone 5s. The camera improved considerably after the 4.4.2 kitkat update was released and it shows that further improvement through firmware updates is possible . Another drawback is the batterylife. I am not a poweruser and i get around a day and 5-8 hrs battery with 3-4 on screen time if i do not use any battery intensive apps like games. You really feel the battery beginning to drain once you turn on a game. It is expected as a 2300 mah battery is not enough to drive a gorgeous 1080p display and a snapdragon 800 processor. If Google takes care of these 2 depts they can definitely make the ultimate smartphone.. Who knows .. The next in Nexus line may just accomplish that title
