"Go To" Shooting Settings on your DSLR
Hello fellow photo junkies!
I am an amateur photographer that mostly shoots family and friends. I am the typical dad at Disneyland that has the big DSLR hanging around his neck. Over the last 4 years, I have developed some shooting habits and have found myself sticking with one combination of shooting settings for almost all my shots.
Camera - Canon 60D
Preferred Lens - Canon 50mm 1.4
Aperture Priority Shooting Mode
Auto ISO (Cap at 3200)
Auto Focus (center AF point)
Single shot mode (though I do switch to burst frequently)
My shooting style is probably a product of my favorite lens (see above). Because I go all the way down to 1.4 on my 50mm, I love to play with depth of field and enjoy the capability of shooting in low light. But, as much as I enjoy shooting this way, I would love to branch out a little and try out some different shooting styles. What are your "Go To" shooting settings on your DSLR?
