Discuss this: Does Sony's sale of it's PC division speak volumes about the success of Windows on tablets

Just as what we define as a "PC" begins to change Sony exits the business; Sony will no longer sell, create or engineer brand new all in ones, laptops, convertibles or tablets running Windows. They will however continue to make Android tablets such as the excellent Xperia Z tablet. For me it's incredibly interesting how the OS moulds and shapes the form factor. The PC market may be stagnant but tablets although supposedly slowing are still a huge market for potential growth. Sony didn't sell it's "PC" division it sold it's Windows division and if I was MS I'd be pretty worried about that.
