Entry level camera for school magazine
I've recently taken over the "job" of the layout artist of our school magazine, and first thing I did was to get the financial department (if you can call one person "department") to consider getting a camera, because the pictures writers take with their own cameras/phones are truly unbearable. However, resources are very limited, as it's released twice a year with a edition of only 500 copies.
It has been done for years, but I think pictures like this one are definitely unprintable.
Short version: I'm looking for a camera around 500 bucks, that enables people who have only very basic/no knowledge of cameras to take at least acceptable photos in everyday situations (low light/ macro is not important).
I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me!
Thanks in advance,
