King's Assembly: Modularity Done Right?
New Kickstarter project is a device that purports to combines keyboard, mouse and joystick in one. It may seem expensive but to me most all-in-ones fall short of expectations because they think modularity means a cheaper price with more functionality. In my mind however the benefits of a versatile devices comes at a premium price.
All in one printers are a prime example while just all-in-one work for occasional use they often are unable to keep up with moderate/serious use. This gives all-in-one printers a bad reputation however if you're willing to spend the dough on a $500 all-in-one it can handle everything.
Thoughts on this device, the King's Assembly, and modularity in general?
