Selling old laptop for parts, how to protect myself
Hey guys, my old Sony Vaio VPC-z122gx just died. Not really sure what happened. Bottom line, im upgrading to a new macbook air eventually. I took the SSD out to preserve my old data, but I want to sell the rest of the laptop for parts on ebay (or another place if you could reccomend one).
My question to all of you is, do I need to remove my RAM, or clear it somehow to protect myself? What other measures should i take to protect myself I dont want the laptop to end up in the hands of somehow who can steal any of my data. Any input is greatly appreciated!
PS: any idea on how much i can get for it?
