Random thought on the new HTC One

So not alot of commentary on whether HTC will follow suit and incorporate a fingerprint reader on their flagship smartphone. (The One Max is not flagship...)

I feel like it would be a big miss to not incorporate that for anything more than a competitive point for future customers ("...but the samsung and apple one have a fingerprint reader" said the sales person.)

Anyways, I have an idea as to what the black bar on top is considering they decided to keep the power button on top (ergonomically terrible, I've been using a One for the past year almost) I wonder if they have included a reader up top, oddly enough it would be for the index finger not thumb a-la samsung and apple.

It seems like it would be shortsighted for the One to lack competitiveness in this unnecessary but "premium" feature.
