Twitter design lead makes the case for designing for Android.

A very obvious take on the issue of developers not focusing on Android, but also something that needs to be said. Bowles makes a valid point that many of the seeming difficulties of Android design and development have less to do with the core OS and more to do with developer attitudes.

None of which is to say Android has no room for improvement. Far from it, since Google should be making the effort to make Android easier to adopt and design for. And it has been, and no one can deny the staggering difference between Gingerbread and Kitkat.
