This weekend’s big release is the Johnny Depp vehicle Transcendence, but if its cyber-thriller pyrotechnics aren’t up your alley there are plenty of new movies on the horizon. Let’s take a look at some of the latest trailers to make the rounds.

The Rover

Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson star in this thriller that takes place a decade after society as we know it has fallen apart. Directed by David Michôd, the film will screen at the Cannes Film Festival before coming to the US this summer.

The Green Inferno

The films of Eli Roth are nothing if not controversial, and his latest project seems destined to continue that tradition. The Green Inferno takes a page from divisive ‘70s horror films like Cannibal Holocaust, telling the story of a group of well-intentioned college students who travel to the jungle only to find themselves attacked by the very people they were trying to help.

A Most Wanted Man

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman stars in this spy thriller from director Anton Corbijn (Control). Based on the novel by John le Carré, the film also features Willem Dafoe, Rachel McAdams, and Robin Wright — and we can’t wait to see it.

Jersey Boys

Clint Eastwood directs this big-screen adaptation of the hit musical. Depicting the rise and fall of The Four Seasons — using the music of The Four Seasons — it’s coming to theaters this June.
