Bluetooth 4.0 and iOS 8

12

iOS 8 most likely includes these phones: 4S, 5, 5S, 5C and 6. They are all BLUETOOTH 4.0 -phones (iPhone 4 was last with Bluetooth 2.1). Bluetooth 4.0 is so Low Energy that it could find connecting Bluetooth transmitters all the time. iBeacon that is all the time on.

One example: At the entrace of store, there could be three iBeacon transmitters. They would triangliate your position. When you walk in store, your gyroscope/M7 would caclulate yuor position in the store? At the checkout, naturally you would pay with iPhone: one iBeacon transmitter works at each checkout. How paying works etc?

Actually Idk what they implement lol. At least I started thread, so we can speculate how Apple will utilize 4.0 to it's products so that it will makes most sense. Now it is THE TIME to unveil something cool, Buetooth 4.0 makes it possible!
