The Verge Daily Off Topic: Dancing and WWDC (Thurs April 3rd)
Welcome to The Verge Daily Off-Topic. What is this thread you ask? It's your daily community off-topic thread where you're given the floor to talk about anything that's caught your eye over the past 24 hours. Just be sure to stick to The Verge's Community Guidelines, and we'll have no issues here folks.
So yeah, let's just gloss over the fact that I was unable to do the Verge Daily yesterday, and let's bring it back full force today! Here's 90 Seconds on the Verge!
- Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference starts on June 2nd
- The State Department is trolling Twitter for freedom
- The story of Cortana, Microsoft's Siri killer
- The playbook: why Amazon's Fire TV is a guaranteed hit
- Best New Apps: 'FTL' for iPad
At this point so many devices do the same thing, it is hard to get excited about something like this. Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, Wii, Wii U, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Ouya, televisions with these apps built in, etc. make this unnecessary for most people. If the only thing it does special is the Android powered gaming at an additional cost of the controller, I’m not sure that is enough of a difference maker.
