What I Want (or nbousfield's crazy idea)

I was reading a review yesterday for the 2012 Nexus 10, and I had a crazy idea. I would like to buy the next version, but now that I carry my 2012 Nexus 7 with me everywhere, I really only use my phone to listen to music/podcasts/text people that don't use Hangouts (my school has open WiFi). I realized that I could really be fine with just a larger tablet, but even if it had 4G through a carrier, I still wouldn't be able to actually use it as a phone. Then I remembered the Asus Padfone review. My idea was becoming more practical. The only issue I could think of was media playback; it's impractical to carry around a 10 inch tablet in my pocket when I want to listen to something, and my wired headphones have much better quality than my Bluetooth headphones.

This is what I want: The updated Nexus 10 with LTE and a device like the HTC Mini+ that would let me take calls and offload music and podcasts. Basically, the Padfone without the phone, as a Nexus device.

This will never happen, of course, but let me know what you think of my idea.
