IE vs. Chrome: Battery Life
Running Google Chrome on a Mac usually causes a bigger drain in battery life than using Safari normally would (looking at about 1-1.5 hours less according to some). I was wondering if the same applies to Windows laptops and IE. Does anyone experience better battery life using IE instead of Google Chrome? I really need answers since my laptop battery is nearing 50% capacity (I have had this since early 2011 and its been used pretty much non-stop since) at full charge and I want to get the most time on per charge as possible (it'll be a while before I am able to order a new battery unfortunately).
So, please, share you're experiences. Firefox, Opera and any other browser comparisons are welcome.
Thanks in advance
