Yearly OS X releases. You're entering a world of pain.

Apple will introduce 10.10 next week, while many things are still really buggy in Mavericks (, FFS!). I find this very upsetting. I have better things to do than major update work on a 12 month cycle, just to start fresh with a new set of software problems and bugs that probably won't be resolved until 10.11 comes around. And I'm not ever betting on Apple when it comes to fixing legacy stuff.

Remember how 10.6.8 was so damn perfect? It had years to mature. Now we're stuck in constant bugfix limbo, while the clock resets to zero every year in June.

Apple, please stop that nonsense.
