iMessage on Android

I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I think it would be really cool if Apple got a little crazy, and made one of their services available on a non-apple product, namely iMessage on Android. I know there is some sketchy service that runs your message through servers in China and you have to give your Apple ID and such, but again its sketchy and a little unreliable.

Apple is kind of building a wall around itself, Microsoft did it by abstaining to put its features on other devices and were behind on the mobile revolution and lost their footing as the dominate tech company. Apple is doing the same to itself and might not be able to recover.

I think allowing some services like iMessage to be cross platform would be best for the company and a really cool feature, and I'd love to see what Googleplex thinks
