Android Wear | Google Auto-Link | Android TV
Lots of "peripheral" OSes coming out in 2014 from Google. We've all seen demos of Wear and it looks like a true companion device; Auto-Link also seems to be a companion OS as it "projects" your Android device to your car's infotainment system that's already there (based on early rumors); Android TV seems to be another attempt at the TV.
I personally see the value in having them all linked to one data source - having a single point of data and having multiple ways of interacting with your notifications and information seems to be the most convenient and logical. What do you guys think about these new product lines? Do you want them to be dependent on your phone (e.g. being and needing to be constantly tethered to your Android smartphone), or would you prefer them to be stand-alone?
